Pearls of Adria Tour

If you are dreaming to ride on a winding road by the sea this tour is for you! This 7 days tour contains everything a biker might ought: sea, mountains, twisty roads, good food, and a pinch of charm of the Balkans.

On the 5 riding days we take a loop on the Adriatic coast and Istria Peninsula. We ride across forestry area along the Velebit Mountains, and also on Istria, and we ride on the best part of the world’s best motorcycle coastal road, the Adriatic Highway. Blue sea on the left side, mountains on the right side, and the beautiful winding road is in front of us... oh gosh, it sounds marvellous, doesn’t it?

ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Arrival To Budapest:

Pearls of Adria (Budapest)

After landing in Budapest, the capitol city of Hungary, transfer to the hotel. Depends on your arrival and time available, you can discover this beautiful city. We recommend you that if possible arrive a few days prior to the trip, we can offer you programs. In the evening, when all the group members arrived, we all gather for an excellent dinner to get to know each other and the tour guide gives a short briefing about the tour.

DAY 2 - Budapest – Keszthely:

Pearls of Adria (Tihany)

After a good breakfast in the hotel, we mount our motorbikes and start the tour. Firs day we ride on Hungarian countryside, lovely lonely and narrow roads on the Balaton uplands, and visit the Tihany Peninsula, what is famous for its two-towered Benedictine Tihany Abbey, which was founded in 1055 AD. Then we continue our trip along the Lake Balaton, the largest shallow lake in Central Europe, and drive through the world famous Káli Basin, which is the part of the National Parc. By the afternoon we arrive to the end of the lake, and take our accommodation for the night.

DAY 3 - Keszthely - Zadar:

On this beautiful day we leave Hungary, and drive in Croatia. Long road is for today, so we gain some time on the Highway until Karlovac. But then we turn to the Croatian countryside, and drive across the Plitvice forestry. This part of the day we ride on the continental side of the Velebit Mountain then we reach the Adriatic Sea by the town of Zadar.

DAY 4 - Zadar - Opatija:

On this day we have a lovely ride on the best section of the best motorcycle road of the world, the magical Adriatic coastal road, Jadranska Magistrala. The blue water on the left, the white rocks on the right and many winding curves ahead us. We ride all day like this and have a lunch break in a lovely roadside restaurant. At the evening we arrive to the gate of the Istria Peninsula, to a historic town of Opatija, a lovely town in the Kvarner bay.

Daily attractions: scenery coastal road, Kubus Ura view point, countless lovely bays and charming villages

DAY 5 - Opatija - Opatija:

We have the whole day to discover Istria, the heart-shaped Peninsula. We ride on exciting winding coastal roads, coffee break in the panorama corner, then ride the roads of inner Istria. We visit the most famous old town of the peninsula, Rovinj, and the fairytale castle of Motovun, where the great Mario Andretti, the star of the golden age of Formula 1 and Indicar was born.

Daily attractions: sea view, innerland of Istria, Rovinj old town, Castle of Motovun.

DAY 6 - Opatija - Budapest:

Pearls of Adria (Opatija - Budapest)

This morning we say goodbye to the sea, and drive across the Velebit Mountain. In the morning we drive on narrow winding roads, across forests and small villages. In the afternoon, the last section of the road we ride on the highway, to get back to Budapest in time.

DAY 7 - Budapest:

Day of departure or in case of a longer stay, optional programs like sightseeing in Budapest on bus, boat, or by foot, feasible... Any dreams can come true (almost ), we organize any wish, just let us know!

Tour dates: This tour can be delivered any time from late May to October. Please contact us because we can harmonize it to your flight schedule and further special needs.

The pricing is based on a 6-motorcycle minimum.

Tour may start with fewer riders of course, but changes in pricing or in included services may be necessary.

MOTORBIKES

On this tour you can ride your own motorbike or you can rent one. If you are taking the tour with your own bike, before the tour please make sure all the documents and insurance for your bike are in order. Liability insurance (Green Card) is required. Due to lack of Green Card (a proof of liability insurance) or any documents you can not even enter to certain counrties! Your motorbike must be technically prepared for the tour: tires, brakes, good general condition essential If you want to rent a motorcycle:
