This unforgettable Alps tour is really a concentrated pleasure trip. During this fascinating 11 days trip you will ride and discover the most exciting roads of Hungary, Slovenia, Austria and Italy. The focus is on the mountains of course, so we will catch all the scenery roads we just can, like Grossglockner, Mangart, Nockalmstrasse, Sölkpass and many passes in the Dolomites.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Arrival to Budapest:
Arrival to Budapest

Your guides will wait for you at the airport and escort you to the hotel in Budapest, the capitol city of Hungary. Depends on your arrival and time available, you can discover this beautiful city. We recommend that you arrive a few days prior to the trip, we can offer you programs. In the evening, when all the group members arrive, we all gather for an excellent dinner to get know each other and the tour guide gives a short briefing about the tour.

DAY 2 - Budapest – Őrség National Park:
Budapest – Őrség National Park

After a nice breakfast in the hotel, we mount our motorbikes and start the tour. First day is for familiarization with the bike, with the country, so the daily distance is not too long and the route is not too difficult. An easy ride around the lake Balaton on the Balaton uplands, on a lovely country roads and beautiful countryside.

The evening will find us in the lovely region in western Hungary, called Őrség.

DAY 3 - Őrség National Park - Bled:
Őrség National Park - Bled

In the morning we leave Hungary and ride on typically Slovenian roads. Drive across little villages and bigger cities and forests, follow the river Dráva for a while and arrive in Bled at the foot of the Julian Alps in the evening. Bled is famous for its beautiful lake with a little island with a church in the middle, and the Bled Castle, which stands above the lake.

DAY 4 - Bled – Iselsberg:

In the morning we ride on the small roads in the Triglav National Park, around mount Triglav, the highest peak of the Julian Alps and also Slovenia. We also ride the highest mountain road in Slovenia. The Mangart road is an unforgettable experience to ride with its narrow road and deep cliff on the side. Then through Predil pass we arrive in Italy for a short but spectacular section, and then arrive in Austria on the Nassfeld pass. After a nice ride in the afternoon we arrive in Iselsberg, at the foot of the Grossglockner.

DAY 5 - Iselsberg – Grosglockner Hochalpenstrasse – Iselsberg:
Iselsberg – Grosglockner Hochalpenstrasse – Iselsberg

The best thing that can happen to a biker will happen on this day! We ride up strait to the bikers’ heaven and spend the whole day there riding up and down on a Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. We stop for a rest in the bikers’ point, then ride up above 2500m altitude to Edelweissspitze and enjoy the stunning views. Then go down on the other side to the northern gate and back to the western end of the Hohe Tauern National Park to the Pasterze Glacier. After a thousand turns we descend from the mountain in the afternoon and start the well-deserved rest.

DAY 6 - Iselsberg –Dolomites:

This day we continue to the west, and reach Italy at the Staller Saddle Pass, above 2000m altitude. On the Italian side we descend on a narrow serpentine, which is a one-lane only road: for 15 minutes open upwards, then 15 minutes downwards. In Italy we approach Dolomites on Misurina Pass, near the famous ski area, Cortina d’Ampezzo, then comes one of the most stunning mountain pass, Passo di Giau. Our stay for the night is among the amazing peaks of Dolomites, at the foot of Marmolada.

DAY 7 - Dolomites:
Dolomites

This is the day of the passes. We ride around the most famous passes in the Dolomites, on the route of Alpenmasters. Up and down all day long, serpentines, and stunning views. We’ll go up to the top of Mount Lagazuoi with a cable car and look around from a top of this huge rock close to 3000-meter above sea level.

DAY 8 - Dolomites – Turracherhöhe:
Dolomites – Turracherhöhe

Headed east we leave Dolomites and Cortina d’Ampezzo behind, and ride in the Italian hills, and then we continue with our curves in the Austrian Alps. The end of the day we ride a lovely scenic route, Nockalmstrasse, and arrive in our daily destination, Turracherhöhe.

DAY 9 - Turracherhöhe – Mariazell:
Turracherhöhe – Mariazell

We continue riding where we stopped yesterday: a typical alpine environment, lovely winding and scenery roads in the Austrian Alps all day long. A nice pass, the Sölkpass right in the morning, then the lovely road of Wildalpen. At the afternoon we arrive in Mariazell, located at the junction of several valleys, and it is one of the most well-known of Mary-Shrine in Central Europe, a famous pilgrimage site.

Daily distance: 260 km.

DAY 10 - Mariazell – Budapest:
Mariazell – Budapest

The last day is the longest one. Leaving Mariazell we continue riding in a lovely alpine environment approaching the Hungarian border. With a pleasant serpentine we say goodbye to Austria, and go on in Hungary countryside, the Balaton upper land, and arrive in Budapest in the evening.

DAY 11 - Budapest:

Day of departure or in case of a longer stay optional programs like sightseeing in Budapest on bus, boat, or by foot, feasible... Any dreams can come true (almost ), we organize any wish, just let us know!

The pricing is based on a 6-motorcycle minimum.

On this tour you can ride your own motorbike or you can rent one. If you are taking the tour with your own bike, before the tour please make sure all the documents and insurance for your bike are in order. Liability insurance (Green Card) is required. Due to lack of Green Card (a proof of liability insurance) or any documents you can not even enter to certain counrties! Your motorbike must be technically prepared for the tour: tires, brakes, good general condition essential If you want to rent a motorcycle:
